CAS latency overide???

what is this and what does it do? in my bios i have available options are 2 clocks 2.5 clocks and 3 clocks and also auto. What should be selected for optimal performance?

I'm guessing it's just your MoBo manufacturer's way of making your CAS option sound better. If you can run CAS Latency Overide 2 then it should be faster.
