I have bought a Bitfenix Alchemy Cablekit, where I found a "dual" PCIE power connector. It goes out from the PSU to a 6-pin and a seperate 2-pin, then another 8-pin is connected to the 6-pin plug.
I'll connect an overclocked MSI 1080 Gaming X to it, so here's my question: Can a single PCIE outlet provide enough power to run the card with 2 PCIE conncetors via this cable? Or am I better off with the "classic" 2-cable (2x single 8-pin PCIE) solution?
