So my other post has turned into a battle of amd vs Intel almost. My question is, are load temps of 37c good for air cooling. That was after 30 min of prime. Idle temps are 28c, and I'm using a ninja4. Just checking b4 I start ocing, otherwise I'll reapply the TIM and reseat the cooler.

Max core/package 62c, max socket 72c. 37c is brilliant and gives you a lot of overclocking headroom

+1. Exactly. Also idle temps are fairly irrelevant. Looks like your cooling is well set-up to OC.

ATM using Open Hardware Monitor, got an update last December and works brilliantly, very lightweight and love being able to put real-time temp icons near the clock on taskbar. HWInfo64, HWMonitor, CPUID, Speccy, RealTemp for Intel will all do the same job :)
