I don't think that Nvidia needed to use a PCB that big and that extensive to get a G4 ti 4600 card to 300/650. I think it was a marketing thing. My G4 ti 4200 64MB does 325 core and 600 memory. The memory is 3.6ns TSOP Hynix. while my PNY G4 ti4600 only did 320 core and 720 memory.. the high memory clock is due to the 2.8ns BGA (duh). But that fact that I got 325MHz on a G4 ti4200 OEM, shows that the PCB is fine. I think they wanted to make the G4 ti 4600 look bigger on purpose for marketing and shock value.

Yes.. ALL G4 ti 4400 and G4 ti 4600 boards are bigger and use a 8 layer process which is supposed to give you more stable voltages. But I don't think it does much at all other than drive the cost up for video cards..

Yeah he said that the Ti4600 board is bigger than the Ti4200 board only because of "marketing and shock value." He makes that statement by saying that the core on his 4200 can go higher than on his 4600.

You sound like a English major..lol:beer:

voltage mod your ti4200 and a ti4600 the ti4600 will absolutly stomp the ti4200 into the ground..

I'm not about to volt mod my card, since I've lost a lot of cards with volt mods, but if someone has volt modded ther Ti 4200 please tell us your before and after.. And I thing most overclockers don't do volt mods..
