Justa a bit currious as why my 160gig SATA Seagate shows up as 149gig's ? Also on my other PC my 40gig shows as a 37gig ?
 
the advertised size of HDD is considering that 1000MB=1GB but in reality 1024MB= 1GB. You always have a bit less space than what the box said, the bigger the drive the more the space diffrence
