No problem at all. If you take a good look at that board I linked you'll see the difference around the CPU socket. The Giga will offer more/cleaner power signal to the CPU . What do you have for a power supply?

It may be freezing in the game and not on P95 because the game is making use of the CPU and the integrated GPU.

On a cheap motherboard those 860k chips max out at about 4.3-4.4.
