I have a 3dfx Voodoo3 2000 PCI, and I would like to know how to overclock this board !

All answers are appreciated !

if your familiar with regedit you can edit the registry to overclock the voodoo3. I have mine at 180mhz with this method.

go to RUN and type regedit hit enter

Expand these folders in this order.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\Class
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\Class\Display

Ok there will be a at least ONE folder under this with four digit #
mine is 0001
If you ahve had multiple video cards installed on the system there will a 4 digit # for each of them so you will need to find the one for the current card.
Now go to the Default folder listed below
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\Class\Display\0001\DEFAULT

Click on Edit and click to enter a new "string value"
name it GrxClock

right click GrxClock and select to modify it

enter the value data(clock speed) and click ok

congrats you have just manually o/ced your videocard.

Just take baby steps until you ahve a stable o/c without jaggies.

Tithulta, there is a little problem : in regedit, there are like 8 4digits folders in display. Which one should I choose !?!?
