How to get over 12.5 multiplier with A7N8X?

I would like to give it a try at 13 but the menu shows me 12.5 as the higest value. I have the 1003 bios and I have an issue with the 1004 so I wont upgrade. Anything I missed somehow?

I think your CPU may be like mine (2600+) in that 12.5< is unlocked but to access 13+ you need to unlock it on the CPU itself.. I can access 13+ through BIOS but the CPU is not unlocked so at 13x180 for instance my CPU reads as like 950MHz.. There's a thread or two about this under the AMD CPU's forum..

Thanks, I wont boughter bringing it higher then... Got my 2500 at the 3000 frequency, pushing it more wont give me anything really noticeable for the trouble it may give me.
