Since last year i couldn't pass the 250 FSB Wall with my intel system. Every memory with windbond ch-5 chips got this problem!

Old System:
Corsair TWINX1024 3200 LL Rev. 1.2 ~ 390 €
ASUS P4C800 Deluxe
Intel Pentium 2.6c @ 3.25GHz = DDR400 (5:4)

233 FSB - 1:1 - 466MHz - 3-4-4-8-8 - 2.85v - memtest unstable
250 FSB - 5:4 - 400MHz - 2-2-3-6-8 - 2.55v - memtest stable
258 FSB - 3:2 - 344MHz - memtest unstable

New System:
MDT 2x512 DDR400 ~ 200 €
ASUS P4C800 Deluxe
Intel Pentium 2.6c @ 3.57 GHz = DDR450

233 FSB - 1:1 - 466MHz - SPD - 2.85v - memtest stable
240 FSB - 1:1 - 480MHz - SPD - 2.85v - memtest unstable
275 FSB - 5:4 - 450MHz - SPD - 2.85v - memtest stable
292 FSB - 5:4 - CPU is topped!

The MDT Riggs are the burner and cost only 200 €'s! They can run 466MHz with 2.85v memteststable!

Wonderfull... :)

What Rams do you have? The MDT's are extremely cheap(200 €'s). :)

I'm selling my corsairs to a friend for 300 €'s!

How in the heck did you get a 2.6 that high?!?! mine locks up on 3.2. What is your cooling?

@ Mr. : Wich Rams do you have? All Winbond CH-5 Chips got this problem. If you got this chips on your rigs you must sell it and buy some without CH-5 chips.

BH-5, MDT etc.

I'm testing the mdt's now, because the parcel came yesterday.

Now i'm @ 466MHz - 2.55v - 2.5_2_3_5 - PAT:enabled - Infinite - 64usec = memtest stable

The stepping is a SL6WH! Above 275 FSB it needs a lot of voltage > 1.70. It boots @ 292 FSB with 1.80v... *scary

Here are the new results:

Prime95 & Memtest86 Stable:
CPU: 275 FSB - 3,56GHz - 1.62v
DDR: 220=440Mhz - 5:4 - 2.55v - 2_3_2_5 - PAT:enabled
