Could certainly bring about great options for basic setups requiring mediocre graphical performance simply not had from Intel's current lineup. Of course, could also be Apple telling them to get better graphic solutions or they will make the switch to another SoC.

As often the case, how interesting this is will depend on pricing. Based on rumours elsewhere, it seems the top model will have a Vega GPU roughly comparable to an RX 560, maybe a little more but not up to 570 level. I wouldn't complain about that for 1080p/60 gaming. At 100W combined TDP, that'll still fit comfortably into a 15" "gaming" laptop, but may struggle for smaller form factors.
