Is a 156w plet enought for 1600@3000?!

I see that there is some people using 110 or 70w plet on 2260@3000
i have a p4 1600 that at 1.88v (using only for experiment, for normal use it's a 2700 a 1.62v) reach 3060mhz
at this speed/voltage he generate about 150w
with ice i can obtain about 33-35° with water at 10-15°

if i use a 156w 15v@12v, is enought for a little drop in temperature or i must use a 226w plet???
because for a 156w a 350-400w psu is enought, and i have it
for a 226w i need a 450-500w psu or a dedicated 12V 25A psu, and it cost too much for me!!

what the difference in temps between no plet with 10-15#water and plet 156w with 10-15° water with my system???

the rule is that you need twice the pelt wattage for tha amount of wattaage to be taken care of so in your case you need two 156pelts

and theres no way in hell you going from 1600 tp 3000---- a 226 would work- but dual 156 would be better---- dont forget to insulate!!!

my cpu can do this at 1.88v with 226w plet and 5° water


unstable yse, but it's only the beginning!!

this is on a friend system, i can do only 3080 with ice and no plet (also unstable, stable only for superpi 1m)

the problem is: can i have a temperature drop with one 156w plet or not?
