Just got my rad, big dent on the side

The main thing that I'm worried about is performance. So here's a pic of the dent. Do you think this is serious?

It shouldn't hurt performance. I'm judging by the pic it supports dual 120 fans. If you are worried about asthetics, return it. Otherwise, pop that baby in and do some leak testing, performance shouldn't suffer at all.

That's good to hear. Asthetics are important but not enough to warrant a return. Besides, it's the shippers' fault (jerks, there was a huge dent in the side of the box), not the seller's.

You can probably pop the dent out if you'd like, just for looks

Out of curiousity, where does the water flow in this heater core? Does it flow through small passaged in the fins?

The water flows in the VERTICAL flat tubes, the fins you see are there to cool the tubes.
