I don't think so as I was at stock clock just before and gettin worse scores, like 230000 at stock. I have experienced that phonomenon before though. I have a feeling intel is going to win this bench on the same gpu.

You were using a different driver as well which can have an impact.

It's not even close devlos, my 4770k at 5.1 out scored my 8350 at 5.4 by 130k points using my Radeon 5850, and nearly 200k with my 580 installed.

I had a tough time OCing's the GPUs - if I could it was a small gain
Either crossfire hates overclocking, or mining and folding has degraded both GPU's. Meh.

This i5 will be the death of me. Not even 1.45 Vcore could get 4.7Ghz stable enough to bench.
I did get 4.55 Ghz going:




Tomorrow, I'll try just the 270x.

Don't worry sir, my i5 4690k took 1.4v to be stable at 4.7ghz I went as far as 1.45 for 4.8 and it just wouldn't stop being a pos.

So here's mah best @ 4.7

The GTX295 is a hot one for sure. I know what you mean about the R9 290's being hot, I benched three reference R9 290x's and they were extremely hot.
