Need help finding new motherboard

Hi, currently i have a Asus M2N-SLI Deluxe Mobo, AMD Althon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 6000+ 3.01 GHz, Nvidia Geforce 7950 GX2, 2 GB of DDR 2 800 Ram, 320 GB IDE hard driver running on windows XP.
However, the computer hasn't been running to smoothly, but that's a whole different story...anyways...i want to upgrade to a new motherboard along with two 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive in a raid setting. Oh yeah, this computer is for straight gaming pretty much. Also would 2 more GB of DDR 2 800 Ram do anything with xp because i heard it's only good for vista.

I don't think that when I went to 4gb of ram it made much difference in XP from my 2gb. My bro on the other hand said that Vista ran much better with 4gb than just 2gb.
