Its a waste to buy single led for performance pc and what not. Go on ebay and buy a 100 pack of LEDs from hongkong for 3$ shipped.

I buy from this guy constantly, http://stores.ebay.com/hktaiyuen-LED-store?_rdc=1

I've got all colors of leds all brightness and all sizes. I recommend 1,500 MCD or less for the lian-li case, I think they use 5000 stock which are WAY to bright. I bought some 10,000 MCD 3MM led here recently to backlight my keyboard, they are bright enough to be used as a flash light... I'm thinking about soldering a bunch togther and replacing the bulb in my maglight with them.

PM me if you have questions :)

Same thing happened to me. I did nothing about it. Figure if I need to really see a light flashing I can buy an led like the above posters suggested.

Stupid question, I know, but did you try reversing the connector polarity?

Well Hafa, your question wasn't really stupid at all. It worked! :salute:

It's a "wonderful" bright red like a railroad crossing!

I'm running two exact boards and the "HDD LED" connector markings are normally "up" so you can read them so that's what I did and it never dawned on me to reverse it.

Cripes, I feel like the idiot now.

Thank you all for the assistance!

LOL, guess what I just did.

Thanks hafa. I swear I tried that when I first set up it.

Pinky,

Looks like the Lian-Li assemblers had the wires crossed in both of ours. Mine are reversed. We each owe Hafa a cold one!
