I know this is no real big feat but I'm fairly new to overclocking. I fried my 1ghz athlon when i was changing out systems so I went and bought an 1800+ It runs at 1.53 ghz base and I overclocked it slightly to 1650 *some say more then slightly...but slightly either way* It runs perfectly stable at 1650, and It will load windows xp pro at 1702, but restart if i boot anything up, even SiSandra. It had been working at 1702 at one point, butl..anyway. In theory, would adding another fan allow me to overclock it possibly more> The only cooling I currently have is a 60mm delta for the case, a stock cooler master for the exhaust, and a thermaltake volcano 7 for th cpu. Is there a way to get the cpu to 1750ish stable WITHOUT using water?
