HI guys just got a 2A that just about runs @2500
125fsb with 1.85vcore
Can i get more voltage & if so how?

& will this voltage kill my chip?

MOBO is a epox 4g4a+
i really wanted 133fsb from this chip so
your help would be great

have a good Hsink cant remembere exact name ak478
or somethink!!

Yes, 1,85 will kill your CPU .. I don't know why you need all that voltage to get there, what's your memory?

I wouldn't go past 1.85v... Make sure your cooling is around 50C at least.. 45C-55C

I think your chip will die incredibly quickly at 1.8v and higher. I seem to have damaged mine running at 1.8v for a couple of days. My sig needs updating - it is running at 2.74 @ 1.7v now.

Like everybody said, you don't want to go that high voltage. Check my sig, my 2.0 is the lowest o/c of the bunch.

well the mem is some crapy pc word oem stuff..2700

but i have some samsung origanal wich should be here today

will the memory make make a diff cox im not running it out of spec!its@333

my voltage is only reading 1.79-1.81 in the hardware monitor but is set to 1.85 in bios!my tems are 35c-51

will my cpu still die???????

I give that a 0.5%...it's not a mem problem.
The rest 99.5% goes to the cpu....it just cant go any higher.
That's a common behaviour of the early b0 stepping 2.0A chips

Yes your CPU will still die. 1.85 is way to high and you need to lower it. You have no need to set it that high at how fast you are running.

I do if i want it to stay stable in windows xp pro

but like i said hardware monitor only reads 1.79-1.81
Agp & pci are locked @66 & 33mhz

back @2gig untill i get my head around this could it be my mobos bios@ epox 4g4a? what sort of voltage should i be at for a 500mhz overclock?helllllppppppppppppppppppp plezzzeeeeeeeeeeee
