I'm with Rgone here. I hit 3.8Ghz with my 1045T on a cheap/mid range mobo and had a fair bit of voltage and temperature headroom using a Cooler Master Hyper 212+.
Useless Extra:
Good for 6.67 in Cinebench R11.5, 1.19 single core. Or I can cheat with turbo and go over 1.3 single core.
Depending on the volts and cooling you can get those phenoms 3.8-4.1 just cant be scared to throw 1.5+ at them with good cooling. They get unstable when too hot also.
its funny bulldozer and piledriver are a step backwards they should have used the phenom x6 architecture put 3 megs more cache and 6 modules on and die shrunk it, and you know what? it would probably smoke em both BAD
