setting up a VPN

just wondering if anyone has a guide or something, when I go to college I need to be able to set accounts at this place I work out, this one router has a VPN, the other network dosn't. so....

1) a guide on what all the stuff means

2) if possible, how to VPN onto the one network that dosn't have a VPN on the router

3) any concerns I should watch for?

usually the manual of the router you are using is pretty good especially if you have a linksys
btw i just typed vpn guide in google... and here ya go... try it and youll get 1000000 sites
