That's some serious weirdness! There aren't any refrence points for your fingers to go to in order to type.... It's MUCH too hard to type. I just tried it. :D

I can just imagine seeing somebody type on air....

I agree, Neat gadget, but how does it really work? What happens if you have mouse and you start clicking the keys? :)
I'm sure you have to get used to it. I bet it would be sweet for gamming though, where the number of keys used is usually limited.

If they can get it working right, someone will come up with an alternate layout that will make it much easier.

nihili,

Im waiting for a gadget that youmerely just think about what content you want printed and it just does it by just thinking it :p

I think that thing has merit, I just can't figure out how I'd be able to fit all ten of those sensors on my two index fingers.

wow thats some kewl stuff there, but i would be like unable to type with them , for i need a reference for my fingers to know which keys to type.

"The impact broadband has had on business and society *sex* in modern times has *mmm, Laetita Casta* reached global proportions where internet users can *download porn! download porn! download porn!* enrich themselves with a vast sea of *free porn!!* information, making us a far *sex!*..."

yeah...was "trying it out as well" VERY awkward.....but so is everything when u first use it, right? (but not trackballs...they're just EVIL!!!)

on second hand....i have problems enough with a normal keyboard :D

More Coolness. One of my buds has one of these. It' neat, when you dont need it just roll it up and wrap the cord around it and stick it in your shirt pocket (he has done that).
Flexi Keyboard

If you've typed on a laptop, you've typed on one of those.

Personally, I cant stand laptop keyboards, not because of the size, but because of the lack of resistance. I need a "clicK" and the feeling of the key being depressed several millimeters, otherwise i don't know I've hit the key hard enough.

If you use home keys or dont need to look at the keyboard, I suppose one could make due without one.

I just tried doing the typing thing in the air too and that will take a LOT of practice to get used to.

Also, since there is a sensor on each finger, it would probably figure out what key you are hitting depeinding on the finger moving. No more of my own special typing techniques. I would need to use the 'correct' fingers on the 'correct' keys in order to get it to work correctly. Then there's the case of not having both hands free. tough to eat and send ims at the same time even with this nice tray on me lap now. You can no longer do th eone finger pecking thing.
