What Mobo and processor should i get?

Ok im stuck, im ot sure what i should get. My choices are

MB-ASUS "A7N8X" nForce2 Ultra 400 Chipset Motherboard for AMD Socket A CPU

with

AMD Athlon XP 3200+ "Barton", 400MHz FSB, 512K Cache Processor

OR
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
ABIT "KV8 Pro" K8T800 Pro Chipset Motherboard for AMD Athlon64 CPU

with

AMD Athlon 64 3000+

Well im not sure what to get, and i think you cans ee my price range b6y what i picked with that, but if you guys suggest something else throw it at me cause im up for suggestions, and i wanna be able to OC it.

Athlon 64 costs more but outperforms Athlon XP by 15%-30% (!) at same MHz speed. Check out the AMD section for latest releases (they change quickly now)

If you wish to spend less $ and go Athlon XP, only three nForce2 mobos post all multipliers without mods: Abit, DFI, Soltek.

Asus cannot. It has excellent extras but for overclocking, those three brands outperform it.
