MY computer won't find my sata hd in the windows xp pro installer.... why
it has a AthlonXP 3200+, 2 stix of corsair xms pc3200, Radeon 9800 pro 256mb, Asus A7n8x-e deluxe mother board, 160gb serial ata hard drive, Lite-On burner, lite-on dvd drive, and a Raidmax Scorpio case with 420 watt psu

Usually it will either be on a floppy or CD. If the driver for your SATA controller is on your CD, you need to copy it to a floppy and use it during the windows installation. When booting to the WinXP install disc, you need to put the floppy in when the initial blue screen comes up, and wait until is says to press F6 to install 3rd party drivers, then press F6. Then it will go about installing some stuff, then it will ask you to insert the driver floppy. Since it is already in the drive, hit enter, and it should find the driver it needs. Just keep folowing the onscreed instructions and you should be good to go.
