can someone please tell me what the ns=mhz

meaning like a list of all the common ns and what the mhz max equivlent is...

Like I ordered a 2.8ns gainward gf4 ti4600 and I don't know how fast that ram is qualified for...

a nice list would be appreicated

how about a formula so you can figure it out for yourself next time?

its easy, 1000/X.X ns = Y mhz; so

1000/2.8ns=357mhz (*2 = 714mhz ddr)

1000/3ns=333mhz (666 ddr)

get it? If you want I can post a list of other speeds but I think you get the idea.

That means ruffly my RAM for my gainward can go 715mhz

no problem, I always wondered that myself and one day I came across that formula in a post. keep in mind though that is what speed the RAM is rated for, so it should be able to do 715mhz without a problem but you should be able to push it further then that just like I run my pc2100 @ 150mhz when its only rated 133mhz.
 
yeah I just looked up a review of the Gainward ti4600...besides them saying it was the BEST gf4(sweet) they got the memory up to 754mhz!! sweeeeeet

I like this 2.8ns RAM already and I don't have the card yet...stupid mail!
