Sata help please :)

Ok here is the deal i have just brought a raptor which i want to use as my main drive for windwos etc, now at the moment everything is on my ide drive so im going to use something like norton ghost to trasffer it all across without haveing to do a re-install lol

Now my question is "how" do i make it the primary drie to boot off? does it matter that i have this ide drive too? or can i use it as a slave with my other 80gig drive thats currently a slave (sata)

you can set it to boot from the BIOS. I suggest you unplug the IDE drive after you have done the GHOST transfer. After you have verifiedd that all your data is fine and the raptor is booting properly, wipe the IDE drive and partition it as an Extended, not a primary.
