I'm playing with a (legal) copy of w2k advanced server that a roommate gave to me a few years ago. Anyway, I'm trying to get remote desktop working on it, to no avail.
I install the terminal services in remote administrator mode from the add/remove programs menu. From there I try using XP's remote desktop client.
No luck, it won't login at all. I'm using the right login name/password. I've tried multiple accounts and I simply can't get it to do anything. I can ping the ip address. The service is running according to services.msc.
It seemed pretty straight-forward, but obviously not.
Is there something I'm missing?
