Hey Guys,

I am getting the Nexxxos Monsta 480mm Radiator http://www.performance-pcs.com/alphacool-nexxxos-monsta-480-radiator.html

Problem is it takes 4x120mm fans, and for some reason I had thought I can put 4x140mm fans on it. If I purchase an adapter like this one http://www.frozencpu.com/products/9...er_-_Clear_BP-FA140120-CL.html?tl=g47c121s262 or possibly this one http://koolance.com/120mm-to-140mm-bracket-adapter

will that work?

I am concerned that the cooling will be compromised doing it this way. I have tried to change the order, but Newegg already shipped them. What's your thoughts. Would this work? Would this mess up efficiency? Any help or advice would be much appreciated. I appreciate your time, and advice.

Thanks!

would only work for one spot on the rad the spacer would cover the next set of holes.

sorry, it will not work as scout said, reorder 120mm fans and return the 140mm fans, it sucks to wait, but no damage done.

Thanks guys. I will return them, and get the 120mm versions. You guys saved me from wasting more cash on the adapters. Really appreciate your time, help and advice!

Thanks Again,
God Bless!

That thing is pretty thick, you probably want higher pressure fans. 120mm fans will have higher pressure than 140mm anyway, so it all works out!

Good news is, you went with 120.4 instead of the 140mms because the 120s have better fans and pressure.

Premium fans to look for are the AP-53s, EK Vardars, Noctuas, eloops B12s to name a few.

480/120 = 4

480/140 = 3.4285714285714285714285714285714

Integer math is your friend! :D

Yea they shipped them out today, so all I have to do is fill out an RMA exchange, and send the 140mm back. Appreciate the fan list. I will look into those. I really dig the RGB fans from Thermaltake. Really appreciate the help, and advice guys!

Thanks Again
God Bless!
