Furby hacking?

I saw a pc built inside a stuffed rabbit. Both eyes were red leds and one was power and one was HD activity. I think the arms or legs were used as switches some how. It was pretty funny and actually worked. There was a fan or two on his back and stuff.

remember the movie " little nicky? "

get the furby to say

" IN THE NAME OF LUCIFER, I COMMAND YOU TO SPILL THE BLOOD OF THE INNOCENT! "

muahahaha. i'd love to see that!

man, i need to find an old furby or something, and try to get him to learn that, using the Loop idea you guys said.

I was thinking that I might just get an old integratet 486 SBC and stuff that in there. I could connect all of the furby's inards to it (except the boards as those would be removed). But that would take more space and more power and wouldn't be as much of a challenge as reprogramming the origional.

Good luck on this project. Just make sure it says nothing nice but be sure it speaks ENGLISH.

if you get a very small lappie board with a COM port, you could rewire the entire thing and run the furby on software :D which would give you all the options you want for programming it

Then control it wirelessly with like RealVNC or something. That would be totally awesome, like give it little tank like treads underneith, mwah ahahhahhaha. Lol. :sn:

I'm pretty sure I want to use the stuff that's already in there. Otherwise, it wouldn't really be a furby, right?

I made a Furby killer before... :D Had some little friends that would bring their Furby over so I made an IR device for the serial port. It would constantly beam the "Go to sleep" command over and over.

you ******* ;)

Can anyone find a place to download or even purchase the origional furby code? I want to keep the basic behavior settings.

Also, is there ANYONE on this forum that has any experience with this? I'd really appreciate some advice.

Hahahaha!!

That's funny.
I'm trying to find a video of a furby swearing, that would just make my day.
But I can not find anything.

Please you guys, enough about the video. Yeah, it was funny and all, but that's not the purpose of this thread. This thread is about HACKING THE FURBY, not killing it. Killing it comes later.

Is this the code your looking for or the prog?
PS I pulled the link to keep things on track (sorry about it).

Some good info to look into?

That appears to be related to spoofing the furby's IR signals. It should prove useful in the long run, but it isn't the code I'm looking for. Thanks.

I took some time and emailed the guy that makes the furby upgrade kits. He says that they will be available within a couple months.

I also emailed tiger electronics about obtaining the source code. It likely wont do any good, but it's worth a try.
