Hello!
I found this site while googling about overclocking my RAM.
My computer froze the other day, and she would not boot. Not even POST Really. I turned off the psu and anyways everything was cool but my BIOS settings got reset.
I have a ASUS P5N-T Deluxe motherboard. It was a real b**** to get good BIOS settings, even when not overclocking or anything. (Things seem much better now- I've updated my BIOS from 1106 to 1402.
So anyhow system specs:
From CPU-Z Validated website-
http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=618214
Motherboard- ASUS P5N-T Deluxe
CPU- Intel Core 2 Quad Q9450
Memory- Corsair XMS2 DHX TWIN2X4096- 800mhz CL 4-4-4-12
http://www.corsair.com/_datasheets/TWIN2X4096-6400C4DHX.pdf
Basically, I want to tweak everything up properly. I'm not %100 on all of this.
On the ASUS forums when I built this system there were alot of threads about getting the right settings to be stable.
There were posts stating to get a stable system you need to sync up so to speak the RAM timings from my understanding with the CPU etc.

I'm not all that good with this stuff and I would really appreciate some help with this.
I am using the ASUS ai auto overclock thing right now at about %10. I'm pretty sure everything is not optimized.
I'm sitting at 51 - 58 distance to TJ max on all my cores, so it seems like I have some room. I'm using Windows 7 RC1 which is very stable.
So if you can make better sense then me off all this please, any hints or tips would be great.
I really want to know how far I can push my RAM, if I could get it to 1066?
I think that's way to far though for 800mhz ram, but I do not know much about this.
This is the thread that brought me here:

Thank you for any help or suggestions, I really appreciate it.
