Tested all my Ram sticks with mem86....All sticks tested find with 4 passes.

Ram no longer works in slot 1and 2.. or the blue slots. Ram works find in slot 2 and 4.

Is my motherboard or CPU going???

This problem started a couple of days ago.:confused:

It might help us to know the model of DRAM modules, including their rated frequency, timings, and voltage. Also include pic's of CPU-Z open to the CPU, Memory, and SPD tabs.

I'm not at home right now, but the type of Ram I have is

CORSAIR XMS3 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model CMX4GX3M2A1600C8

DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800)
Timing 8-8-8-24
Cas Latency 8
Voltage 1.65V

Even cleared CMos no go...

Yes, PUlled working ram from an older build and the same exact thing happens boots find in slots 2 and 4 but not 1 and 3...

I would but the board is more then 3 yrs old. I'll keep what I have till something cool comes out. I'm in no big hurry. Maybe I will build something new next yr.

I have an extended warranty that comes with my credit card..I'm gonna file a claim and see what happens
