Ok I've been using the Kentsfield Xeon clocked to 3.2GHz with WCing. The E6550 is 1333FSB where as the Xeon 3210 is 1066. I would be able to run the E6550 at 3.5+GHz on my system in sig, and just plop the Xeon 3210 in my other PC which is limited by it's RAM because it's only PC6400, basicallly the E6550 I could clock alot higher than the Xeon. The downside is that the E6550 is dual-core vs the Xeon which is Quad core...

Wull the obvious question would seem to be...do you actually utilize 4 cores or would one of your two cores usually be napping if you installed the C2D? It's all in how you compute. Some people don't often max out one core while someone else could gobble up 8 cores and still want more.
