Hello all,

I just got a new PC and Im having a weird issue and I really dont know whats causing it.

I want to make sure the BIOS is setup correctly and I hope someone can help.
All I did in the BIOS was selecting XMP profile 1 and my RAM timings and speed was regonized.
It also show a target CPU speed thats higher then the default speed of the 4770K.

How can I use a profile for my RAM and let everything else run at default speed?

Thanks in advance

Its shows:

target cpu turbo-mode speed: 3900MHz
target dram speed: 2133MHz
target cache speed: 3900MHz
target dmi/peg clock: 100MHz
target cpu graphics speed: 1250MHz

Thats with XMP profile selected.

Ok thanks. If this looks good/default I really have no clue anymore where to look.

Its a new build PC and Im having issues with the system freezing up.
The screen freezes and I can not use the mouse and keyboard. No error message, BSOD or eventlog traces so really have no idea where to look for.
Reinstalled windows 2 times now, no luck. Latest drivers, latest BIOS, latest Windows updates. Clean installation without virusscanner.
BIOS setup was kind of the last thing I could think of.
