MEMORY >Corsair vengeance 1600 16gigs
POWER SUPPLY > Raidmax rx-850ae 850w
VIDEO CARD >Evga superclocked gtx 550 ti fermi 1gig x2
HDDs > Hitachi deskstar 1 tb

What suggestions are you looking for, specifically? Do you have the hardware purchased already?

First suggestion I would make is to get rid of that Raidmax power supply. Low quality units tend to go up in smoke more frequently and can take out other components with them.

that's everything i got already set up and i'm just looking for maybe a guide or something to get started

First, download and install these three free programs that you and us will use constantly to report information and stress test your overclock settings:

1. CPU-z
2. HWMonitor
3. Prime95

this is a screen shot at stock settings
