Motherboard Post Issues

Remove the MB from the case and set it up on the box with the memory and Video card and CPU with cooler and see if it will post.
If so then you have a mounting standoff or two that doesn't need to be there and it/they are creating a short with the MB.

does the board require a bios update for bulldozer?

Could it be a failing PSU?

Check also that any jumper is in its correct place and not missing.
Especially the clear CMOS jumper.

one thing i have done in the past and toasted things was to plug a usb cable into the 1394 motherboard port, it fits if you turn the usb connector upside down.
so look at the motherboard manual to be sure your using all the correct ports and the markings on ALL connectors.
