My final layer is almost done. Chaintech Sk8T800 mobo at Microcenter for $79, an Athlon 64 3000 for $222 with shipping at ZipZoomFly.com, a 600W PSU with 3.3v@28A 5v@50A 12v@20A for $15 new (going out of business sale), and 256MB PC2700 for $36 (used 20 rebate.) Hopefully I should be able to oc this 2300-2400MHz and that will bring my farm to 16.125MHz and hopefully to 5400ppw + my other farm/borg at ~6000ppw to hopefully finally get above 11Kppw.
Though as I promissed the diskless farm is temporarily helping out someone else and not at this time contributing here, but one I complete the "promiss" it will then fold for us.

Sounds like you have quite the set-up going on at home.
I think my only computer folding at my apt right now is folding for cluster, but thats ok, hes on the same team.
I still have my lab folding, and some others helping. Now its time to get work folding.
Papsomax, I want to see you catch and pass me. Hurry up.

Well dude I would, but for now the new farm is folding for someone else.......my borgs which unfor are not on 24/7 (they r suppossed to be) only generat around 1600ppw out of the 6-7kppw I do now, even if I had the new farm folding for me 13Lppw still isnt good enough to catch you....i'm waiting for our new p4's to come in at work...then maybe i'd have enough points

btw a question. Your opinions on how to use the A64 3000?
A. Just add it into the farm as a client (which as my inital intent)
or
B. Replace the Athlon 2500@2412 with the A64 3000 as my primary gaming rig.
(the 2500 has 512 HyperX mem, 5950 ultra vid, SB Audigy sound which would all go the the A64) I should be able to oc the A64 between 2300 to 2412) and then add the 2500 as a client into the farm
The 2500 is unlocked but since it is on a KT800 MSI mobo, the best stability and ocing on air I've been able to get is 2412MHz. It's been as high as 2500, but not stable.
