i have a temp probe on the side of the heat spreader.
my room temp is 24C
system temp 26C
water out of rad is 27.7C
cpu probe says 28.7
and cpu temp would say 25C but i have added 10C as bbthumper suggested so thats 35C.
based on what the cpu probe shows i would say thats close.
you could put one on the underside of the cpu but the components under the p4 stop any decent temp readings.
i have a 2.8C running at 3.5 250fsb memory at 400 cl2
sandra cpu score of 10800 and memory score of 5100
all at 1.52v core volts.
