Hello,

I am planning to change my CPU in few months. Now I am running 2600K on Maximus V Extreme and I will probably change it Formula IX or maybe some Mobo for 8700k depends on many things. And the question is if I can take over hard tubing or is the position on mobos different?

Thank you.

Some things might work others wont . Motherboard makers place the socket where it works for them , there is no spec .
If you did it once im sure you can redo the tubing =) .

Hmm no standart tha sux.

I can but I dont want to. It is long one and that would mean I have to buy new tubes :)

I'll never go Acrylic/PetG for that reason alone. I change parts too frequently and don't want the hassle of bending new pipes when I want to switch something out.

But yeah, things will be slightly different.
