q9400 oc help

i have a g41mt-s2p gigabyte moob.
q9400 cpu
8gb g skill 1333mhz (10666) 9-9-9-24
650 watt 80 plus power supply
hd5670 512mb graphics card

Cant get a oc over 2.74ghz

Any help on what i neee to do would be appreiciate. Can give more info if needed.

Have you tried lowering your RAM speed to compensate for the higher FSB speed?

yes i have tried lowering the mhz, messed with the multipliers, vcore and cannot get it to boot. i have c1e disabled, eist, vt, power supply on high performance. Is there something in the ram timings that half to be tweaked?
