I wish to remove or suppress Mozilla Firefox 3.6.10 tabbed browsing.

I do not want to use a browser extension to enforce browser modifications.

After searching using Google, it seems that what I want to do would require implementing the changes in a "userChrome.css" file.[/INDENT]

How can all tabs and tabbed browsing be removed or suppressed in or from Mozilla Firefox 3.6.10?

I set Firefox > Tools > Options > MAIN > TABS > New pages should be opened in: a new window

That way TABS are not used unless I choose to use them...

Singled Window mode means one window filled with TABs. He wants to disable tabs.

I want to disable or remove (preferable) or suppress tab functionality.

I am trying to get the Firefox browser to behave similar to how Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 (any service pack level) is and behaves when no plug-ins/Add-ons that add tabs are used.

Yes, my goal too when first I heard of Firefox.

First I did this:
Firefox > Tools > Options > MAIN > TABS > New pages should be opened in: a new window

....and then all of these tweaks and mods:
