Twice the victims for twice the pain (FUN!)

Got these a couple of weeks ago whe somebody at the egg was posting..... Drunk maybe? :sly:
I dunno but these were $89 each shipped and like a Lays I coudn't grab just one.

Even though they were open box it was still a good deal and came with everything too right down to the driver disk, backplates..... I mean it was all there with both boards.
Both boards tested "Good" and noted nothing of concern with either one.

I snagged these a couple of days ago :) I can't wait to get around to testing them

Yes there are 2 X GTX-580 & 680 Cards.
I got the regular Classified from one seller and the other had the Classified Hydro Copper for only $20 more.

It said parts/repair combo. A combo of PC components (can apply to other things though) sold for parts or repair.

Bringing AMD to the competition. Google's 74 quantum bit comp get out the way!

I think that I can top that. Take a look at these 3 amd bad boys. Clearly no doubt in my mind that they'll mine $500 ea on a bad week. IMG_20191014_043300.jpg

I'm getting a 2500K for this board soon with an L132 batch. Too bad I don't have a good ddr3 ram kit, but I'm searching. :D
Also I'll get a Maximus IX Apex, so I need to save some money so I can buy a 8700K (or save more money and I can buy a 9900K) for it, so I can do all kinds of 3d benches too. :)

I have 4 sticks of G. Skill Ripjaws rated at cl 1600 9-9-9-24 (1 kit + 2 sticks), recently switched from my Z97 board to a X470 one and got some Rev E.
i do not know what defines good ram for ddr3, never OCed ram before getting ddr4, but i was able to under-volt it without it crashing
if it is good let me know and ill try to get a low effort ebay listing made for it or something so you can get it

I would start with a i7-8700k or i7-8086k which ever is cheaper and then de-lid it. I may have gotten a bad i9-9900kf. The IMC was stuck @4.9 (no boot or instant crash @5.0+) and the memory would not run tighter than 14-14-14-28 1T from 3600 to a max of 4266. I switched out the i9-9900kf for my i7-8700k and have hit (Single Core) 5.4GHz core / 5.3GHz IMC with the memory @ 4000 12-11-11-28/220 1T :).
I can't give advice on the Asus M9A on being able to run the 8th & 9th gen cpus. I know there is a hard mod (MB) & soft mod (cpu) that will let you run them. I did a soft mod on 1 of my i7-8700k cpus to work in 1 of my AsRock z170 OCF MBs. It worked for ~ a week before the MB died and then ~ another week before the CPU stopped working in a replacement z370 MB.

Thanks for the offer, but I have an 1600 7-8-7-20 PSC kit, unfortunately it's not really good. Altough it's maybe because I tried it on 1366, and it will be better on 1155... Who knows? I'll just have to check it out. :)
Also I assume you're in the US? 'cause I'm in Hungary.

Yeah I'll go with the 8700k/8086k, I'm 99% sure. It will be better than my R7 2700 for modern benches too and it will be significantly better for legacy. I can't even do legacy on the 2700. :D
Yeah, I have a friend who used a 9900k on the m9a, z170mocf and also on an m8 gene and all of the worked fine, so I don't really have a concernd about that.
