Speedfan is scaring me!!! HELP

so here i am. lucky to be online imo. i just did a full load run of orthos. the first time i've actually done a full load test. temp 1 and 2 (which i assume to be the cpu) were at a nice 44 degrees celsius. but temp 3!!! 124 degrees c. WHAT IS GOING ON! in my frantic rush to stop the stress test i didnt bother to touch the nb cooler. so it could be speedfan. but it scares me

No worries, if anything was really at that temperature it would be dead by now.

It is probably just a whacky sensor or the like.

Could be a sensor from the PSU. I remember getting a 127C alarm from sandra. I ignored it.

Try CoreTemp monitoring.

Temp3 is a nonsensical reading from a nonexistent sensor, as is CPU.
The Temp1 and Core temperatures look okay and realistic.
