aha, so there is a panaflo fan that does what i want. thank you.

i've recently realised that every picture i've seen of the sp-97 shows the heatpipes. i had assumed they were on both sides of the heatsink, but a top view i saw shows them on one side only...thta got me thinking:
i use a tower case. who doesnt these days? would thta not put the liquid in the pipes, not the base of the heatsink? i mean, the liquid in those pipes is supposed ot stay on the die area to absorb heat, then leave up the pipes....if its sideways and the pipes face down, all the liquid would go into them, and not cool the cpu. if they are hoizontal, wouldnt the liquid also settle inside the pipes?!? this makes no sense to me at all. how does the liquid get to cool off the cpu if it does not sit on it? arent these gravity dependant?
