Hello ,
Whats the main difference between those to MOB ? If am lookin into high end oc with the I7 4770K , should I go with the OC VER or the UD5H ?

TY

Well I don't really know :) what's the recommendation ? its look like the I7 4770K is better , not a lot but still better , and if I am going to use the CORSAIR 100i for example why to take the UD5H and not the OC ? I dont like headache just want to go easily for a high end oc , so if I am going to use Liquid cooling , The OC MOB is better ? again whats the difference between the two ? Do you recommend still to go on the IVy with lower price ??

On the front page is a review of the Haswell CPU, check it out. I agree with that opinion there (buying new, get Haswell).

The difference is, H20 cooling isnt extreme cooling. You dont need the features and the robustness of the OC board for the overclocks you can obtain with an H100i. You are essentially blowing money on features you will not use or doesnt matter where your overclocks are going.

I dont know which obard you are talking about if the "UD5H" is more expensive than the OC (OC is a $400 board from giga made for overclocking extreme really). How about some links to the boards you are talking about please... :)

Well , lets make it simple :)

This is my current Hardware :

Intel Core i7 930 2.80GHz 4.8 GT/s 8MB (Quad Core) OC3,8 GHZ
Scythe Mugen-2 Rev.B SCMG-2100 Retail
Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD3R, Intel X58 Chipset, USB3.0, SATA 3
Corsair XMS3 6GB Kit (2GB x3) DDR3 1600MHz CL8
Gigabyte GeForce GTX 570 1280MB
Samsung SpinPoint F3 1TB 3.5" SATA II 32MB
Sony Optiarc DVDRW AD-7260S x24 SATA
Gigabyte iSolo 210 , Aluminum Panel, 2x120mm Fan, Black
FSP 600W, FSP600-80GHN, 120mm FAN, PCI-E, Active PFC

I want to change only the CPU , MOBO and RAM This is what I am looking in to :

Memory - Crucial 4GB DDR3 1600MHz X 2

CPU - I7 4770K

MOBO - thats the quetsion ..

Or maybe I should go on something else ? (no asus only gigabyte MOB)

Is everything would work fine with my current hardware ?

What are you doing with this computer? Gaming? Photoshop?

Do you plan to run SLI or Crossfire at some time, or always one GPU?

Where are you planning to purchase your parts at? If in the USA do you live near a Microcenter?

What's your budget for the upgrades?

Well that's why I asked between the Regular OC version and thw UD5H.. It needs to be a Hard core gaming pc. No budget limit..not 2K $ but 1K for this update is fine for me..

Where will you be buying from? Part of the good decision is based on what prices you can get, not what prices I can get.

If I recommend a 200 dollar board, but its 350 for you its not a good deal. See what I mean?

This is my 3 only options and exactly prices , you tell me what is the best to use' all prices is fine for me.

GA-G1.Sniper M5 - 289 $ -

GA-Z87X-OC - 305 $ -

GA-Z87X-UD5H - 339 $ -

I would say the UD5H, as it has more features suited toward gaming than the other two.

The other two boards are meant for hardcore benchmarking. (Dry ice, liquid nitrogen, etc)

Looks fine now ?
