Pivos XIOS XS Entertainment Center Review

A little over a year ago, we took a look at the Pivos XIOS DS Media Play entertainment center and found it to be a unique device with a lot to offer. Fast forward to today, and we now have an updated version called the Pivos XIOS XS. This time around Pivos uses the TOFU Media Center GUI, which is a Pivos customized version of XMBC that sits on top of the Android 4.2.2 OS. Plenty of other enhancements have been made over its predecessor that we’ll explore along the way. Let’s get started!

HIS R9 280 IceQ X2 Video Card Review

AMD has been releasing the Rx 2xx series of GPUs over the past nine months. The R9 280 is one of the last GPUs in the series that was released, and it filled the gap between the 270X and 280X nicely. Lamptron CF525 Fan Controller Review

Lamptron has long history of providing enthusiast level fan controllers, and they were kind enough to send along their latest and most powerful controller to date… the CF525. This beast offers a no frills approach to a massive amount of power – 60 watts per channel to be exact. Lamptron readily admits the CF525 is complete overkill for the vast majority of computer enthusiasts, but that didn’t stop them from producing the most powerful fan controller on the market today. So, let’s take a look at this super high performance fan controller and see what Lamptron came up with!
