Earlier this week Cherry acquired Active Key, a German keyboard and mouse manufacturer with a focus on hygienics. The pairing of these two companies should be a good compliment as each offers technical and engineering advancements. What this means for the home PC user remains to be seen, but this certainly will bode well for those working in the medical and industrial fields as well as POS systems. MSI has announced a massive 13 new laptops across six different lineups. Whether you are a gamer or a content creator, MSI has developed a laptop for you. The six new series are the Creator (models Z16, M16, and 17), the Raider (models GE76, GE Tiamat Edition, GE66), the Stealth (models GS76 and GS66), the Leopard (models GP76 and GP66), the Pulse (models GL76/Crosshair 17 and GL66/Crosshair 15), and the Katana series (models GF76/Sword 17 and GF66/Sword 15). The new laptops include Intel’s 11th Gen H series processors and up to a GeForce RTX 3080 Laptop GPU. Pricing and availability were not included in this press release.
Today, Corsair has launched a pair of very interesting cases in the 5000D RGB Hydro X and 5000X RGB Signature. The 5000D RGB Hydro X is a custom water cooling dream case with its preinstalled 360 mm XD7 pump/reservoir/distribution plate combo. This chassis is currently available at the Corsair website with a list price of $349.99.
The iCUE 5000X RGB Signature series is an addition to the existing 5000X line-up and includes custom UV-printed graphics with five different motifs. Users can choose between Neon Night, Triptych, Shift, Planetary, or Glitch to add additional styling to their build. The 5000X RGB Signature Series are also available through Corsair with a price of $249.99 for any of the five options.
Yesterday, 3DMark released Wild Life Extreme. A cross-platform benchmark geared for mobile devices. Users can compare results from devices such as Windows Notebooks, Apple Macs with the M1 processor, even cellular phones on iOS and Android. This is an improved version of the original Wild Life benchmark that was released last year.
Today, MSI has announced a new flagship Z590 motherboard, the MEG Z590 Ace Gold Edition. Featuring 24K Gold foil the new Gold Edition has a truly stunning look. It is unclear at this time if the new appearance is the only difference from the original MEG Z590 Ace. MSI is also taking this time to make further announcements on the Z590 Unify and Unify X.
