CES 2023 – Back to Las Vegas!

It’s that time of year again, folks! CES is back and close to 100% (from pre-COVID days), and the team at Overclockers.com will be there to cover all the cool things our partners have to offer. Although only one of us is attending this year, we have well over a dozen meetings scheduled across three days, while on the fourth (Saturday), we’ll hit the convention center floor and bring you some fantastic items from there as well.

AMD Releases Adrenalin 22.12.1 Driver Update for Radeon RX 7900 Series Graphics

With AMD’s launch of its Radeon RX 7900 series graphics cards today they are also releasing the latest Adrenalin 22.12.1 Driver. In addition to providing support for the new cards, the latest driver implementation also fixes several known bugs. Among them are several known system crash conditions, corruption with Virtual Super Resolution, and stuttering during Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End. Below are AMD’s release notes.

Gigabyte Z790 AORUS Elite AX Motherboard Review

By now, most are used to seeing that the new motherboards with the top chipset cost a lot, but it’s not a rule. Gigabyte prepared some of their new motherboard series for AMD and Intel processors to deliver premium features and be more affordable at the same time. One of those motherboards is reviewed today, the Gigabyte Z790 AORUS Elite AX.

Nvidia Releases GeForce Game Ready Driver 527.56 WHQL

Nvidia has recently released its Game Ready Driver 527.56 WHQL with updates and support for Portal with RTX, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, and Jurassic World Evolution 2. This latest patch also includes adding Ray Tracing and DLSS 3 support. Additionally, several fixes are incorporated, including the Watch Dogs 2 display flickering issue, DLSS3 crashes while using Shadowplay, and several others. G.Skill has recently announced the retail availability of its blazing-fast Trident Z5 DDR5-8000 memory kit. Featuring a CAS latency of only 38 this 32 GB kit is the same that was overclocked to 10,000 MHz, which we wrote about last month. Pricing was not included with the press release but more information can be found on the G.Skill website.
