1/2" vs 3/8" tubing

Personally I would title "read the stickies if you are a newbie (apply rest at end)"
Or use some sort of reference to let new users know that the stickies are there to cover all the basic questions that a newbie would ask.

Seems to me most people who are new to forums don't really know what the stickies are there for.

I would use 1/2 id if you can fit it however if you cant go with 3/8

just wondering does any serious WCer use 1/4 it saddens me to see 1/4 id tubing on some commercial setups

1/4" tubing may sadden you, if its used correctly it can be awesome. and to be honest with you, I am using it and having great results. It just needs to be used correctly.

When making tubing size suggestions , I would appreciate if everyone could list what type of block they are using.

Who has experience with 3/8 streched on 1/2" fittings.

Put it in boiling water and it's ok - even Tygon
I use both 1/2" and 3/8", in parallel loops, CPU loop is in 1/2", GPU + NB loop is in 3/8": that's flow management pump and rad are of course in 1/2"

Those german blocks that use 1/4" ID are of amazing design and quality...
