Abit KT7A PeP66T combination

I just got a Abit KT7A and ordered a Alpha PAL6035MFC but got sent a PEP66T and a DELTA 60MP fan,now the good bit,with the PeP66T the fan is mounted on the side of the heatsink and not the top.As anyone managed to fit this heatsink & fan on a Abit KT7A,If so please enlighten me,The heatsink fits on the cpu ok just no place for the fan as on both sides i have the green condensors in the way..

You gotta mod the HSF shroud so that the fan sits on top like most normal HSF's. all this takes is a tinsnips and a couple of minutes. If you just wanna use the 60x10mm fan that came with the PEP66T this is not necessary, but this is not nearly as good a fan, and as simple as the mod is, I'd recommend modding it.
