C coms Registered Joined Nov 23, 2005 Jan 4, 2007 #1 Just bought one and currently waiting for memory and cpu. Is it worth removing the board heatsinks and re-applying some thermal paste as ive read the thermal which is applied is a bit gunky. thanks

Q Quest For Speed Member Joined Jan 29, 2003 Location New York City Jan 4, 2007 #2 If you plan on increasing the NB and SB voltages applying good TIM helps so should. Also remove the cover on the NB sink.
