Did you look at the FPS diffrence betweent he Pro and XT-PE? Just look at the site I posted and you will see a big diffrence in Farcry alone as well as others.

Yeah, the only problem is the big difference on the sticker too....

Sort of off topic, but it's been brought up a few times already in the thread...

There is a lot more to PCI-E then just bandwidth. For example: AGP provides a fast data path in one direction only, but PCI-E provides for extremely fast data transfers in both directions with no "switch around time" to switch directions. This allows the GPU to used to quickly perform calculations that the CPU would otherwise have to do (calculating grenade blast radiuses was an example one game developer gave). PCI-E also allows multiple graphics cards to be used. PCI-E also increases the power available to graphics cards (PCI-E X800pros will not have a molex or BTX graphics card connector).

Of course there won't be any games out that take advantage of PCI-E for a long time (until the majority of the user base has PCI-E cards), but we may soon see some nifty demos that only run on PCI-E cards. Or we may soon be able to fold or run SuperPI on our GPUs.
