To remove stock heatsink/fan:
Yes, look on the back of the card.
There are 3 screws.
2 screws are connected to a bracket (on the board of the board) that holds the heatsink/fan to the board - undo both (unscrew one halfway then the other half way to avoid putting too much stress on them ) and one larger screw that helps hold the sink to the board. Remove all 3 screws (don't loose the washer on the larger one) and take the heatsink off. It make be slightly "stuck" to the board , because of the thermal "goop" applied to the core.. so be careful and do it slowly .... remove the "goop" with rubbing alcohol - apply as5 and plop on that fancy new cooler.
